This Impressionistic oil painting (c 2007) is a variation of one of Monet's lesser known paintings of his garden in Giverny. Therefore, I received an art lesson directly from the master! However, I added my own touches of coloring and changed the trees in the background to palm trees. Thus the painting was no longer of northern France so I decided on southern France. Monet never had a garden in Cannes, but now he does! The frame, which is included, is hand painted in matching oil paints and it provides a glowing complement. Email for photo!
